Badger raises its seed round—huge thanks to everyone on this journey!

We are very pleased to announce that Badger has closed their first funding round !

Taking this moment to thank all of you those that have joined the journey, great things are coming.

As most of you know, our mission is to help businesses better connect with their customers. Consumer behaviour has evolved a lot in these past years, especially since covid, and the rise of online advertisement, browsing online has become the standard, leaving many brick and mortar shops behind. Our goal is to bridge that gap, bring people back into the streets, and re-activate the local life.

So thank you again to the first ones that have taken the leap with us, we thank you for your advice, feedback and trust that have helped build and grow this far.

In the last 18 months, the badger community has grown to over 150 partner businesses, and over 40’000 local shoppers. That’s a 50x.

In that time we’ve taken the chance to listen carefully to your needs, and ideas to prepare a robust roadmap of features that I know many of you have been anticipating.

At Badger, we believe in building with merchants, not just for them. Our values : proximity, collaboration, and transparency guide everything we do, and it’s thanks to this shared spirit that we’ve come this far together.

In the past few weeks, we have grown the team, and laid the foundations for what’s ahead, and are now more ready to scale our operations and push new milestones quicker than ever, so keep an eye out (or check your messages), many things are coming.
