We’re excited to unveil our new feature designed to boost your Google reviews.

Why this update?

After chatting with you and more than 50 other businesses, one topic kept coming up: Google reviews. That’s why we decided to tackle it first, before moving on to other features to boost your visibility.

The problem with Google Reviews

Less than 1% of customers leave a Google review, while more than 75% read them before choosing where to eat. A strong Google reputation is now essential for local visibility.

Some of you also mentioned that unhappy customers are often the only ones who leave reviews, even after many positive visits in the past. And we all know that asking customers for reviews is exhausting, and that staff rarely have the time to do it...

The opportunity

Asking for reviews shouldn’t be extra work. So we decided to automate it.

Badger will handle the requests for you: a notification will be sent to your customers 30 minutes after their visit.

Requests will only be sent from the second visit onwards, because if they’ve come back, the chances of getting a positive review are twice as high.

Fewer negative reviews

Here’s how it works:If the customer’s rating is positive, they’ll be redirected to Google to publish their review. If not, the review stays within the app, visible only to you.

The pilot

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably been selected to take part in our pilot. In total, 15 businesses are participating. We’ll experiment with different notification styles and timings to find out what works best.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d love to discuss it with you and hear your feedback.

See you soon,

The Badger Team
